The solution
Ecommerce information architecture
Planned the store around a homepage, shop, individual product pages, about, contact, and the supporting policy pages a storefront needs.
Homepage and shop experience
Set the brand and visual direction, then structured the homepage and shop so visitors can move into collections and product pages without friction.
Product-page presentation
Built a repeatable product-page pattern covering product title, imagery, description, and product details so new items follow the same structure.
Collection planning
Organized the catalog into pants, hats, and t-shirt collections so products stay grouped as the range expands.
Product-image standards
Applied descriptive filenames, consistent cropping, and compression so product photography stays sharp without slowing the store down.
Product titles and descriptions
Wrote and structured product titles and descriptions so each page reads clearly for shoppers and search engines.
Mobile optimization
Tuned the storefront presentation for phone-first browsing, where most apparel shopping happens.
Trust and policy pages
Planned shipping and returns, privacy policy, terms, and a size guide so shoppers have the information they expect before buying.
Product structured data
Implemented Product structured data on product pages, including the product image data Google Search Console flagged as missing on affected pages.
Search Console validation
Submitted the corrected product pages for validation in Google Search Console, and the affected pages were subsequently accepted.
Product-page structure
Every product page follows the same reusable pattern, so new items can be added without rebuilding the layout each time.
- Product name
- Product imagery
- Product description
- Product details
- Collection links back into the shop
- Product structured data

Product-image optimization
Apparel sells on photography, so the image workflow protects product detail while keeping pages light.
- Descriptive, SEO-friendly filenames
- Appropriate cropping for a consistent product grid
- Consistent product presentation across the catalog
- File-size reduction through compression
- Preservation of fabric, stitching, and color detail
- Accurate alternative text describing each product
Product structured data
Product structured data was implemented on the store's product pages. Google Search Console reported missing product-image information on affected pages, that image data was added, and the affected pages were subsequently accepted during validation.
Structured-data validation helps Google understand a product page, but it does not guarantee rankings or rich results.
A catalog built to scale
The store architecture is planned to support a catalog of approximately 100 products. Not all of those products have been added yet – the foundation is what makes adding them straightforward.
- Reusable product templates
- Consistent product naming conventions
- Product categories and collections
- Shared product-image standards
- Product reference labels for organization
- Structured product data on each page
- Internal linking between collections and products
